It doesn't sync properly with the Osmo Action 3, despite doing everything you say in the video. Tried numerous times. I have 2 Action 3's that I use for cycling, and the sync is so far out I have to adjust each clip manually. This takes hours! Can you please advise.

If deity could do us a favour and just release the DXTX, that would be awesome. They keep on teasing us with it in their videos.🤦🏾‍♂️ With that form factor and wireless connection with my theos set, everything would be easier. Now I have to consider buying zoom F3 just for my boom mic, deity 😅😂

I absolutely love the Deity S Mic 3s! I use it mostly for booming overhead indoors for talking head videos and interviews. But it also shines for using it (with the pop filter) as a standard microphone. It has a richer fuller sound when used 6-8 inches from the mouth. 🔥

I remember working with a Mixpre 3 in college, and during our documentary assignment, I put the lavs on channel 1&2 since those inputs were right next to each other, and then since the boom was on channel three on the other side of the recorder, I knew what was what. Just helped with organizing.

TRS cables can carry balanced signals. Balanced must start out as a balanced connection from the equipment and use a properly wired 3 conductor cable. Connector does not determine balanced or unbalanced. If any connection in the system is unbalanced the whole system is unbalanced. Shielding stop RF interference. Twisting BALANCED conductors stops magnetic interference.

Ive always had this question: what is a normal top peak DB when recording, Ive worked with -12db, other mixers tell me to have it close to -6db but i think this is not good since it can clip when the actor rises their voice. What would Deity recommend?

thanks for the video. Minor detail: the frequency band for the Netherlands is not correct. The 800Mhz band is no longer available for wireless audio. Use 600Mhz instead.

I have a studio but do get a lot of street noise in. Is the S-Mic 3S still the better choice than the S-Mic 3?
